I shouldn't need to ask for donations for a few more months, and hopefully never again, assuming what I heard about my aunt loaning my parents money was true. And thank you again to everyone who donated, and to the person who helped us reached this month's goal. I'm practically over the moon~

My mom has been very sick for about a week now. She finally saw a doctor today and they ran some tests that were inconclusive, so further tests are being done, and hopefully we'll hear back soon, because my poor mom is so, so miserable.

One of my mom's former coworkers has recommended her to the company he works at now, so we're hoping something positive comes of this. I believe they contacted her, but I don't know more than that. Unfortunately, she's been unable to follow up on this because of illness.

I also overheard my parents saying that my aunt is going to loan us money to help us cover two more months' worth of mortgage bills. This should give my mom until November to find a more solid job. On the job front, too...

End of month house situation update: Thanks to several very kind donations and one very, very generous donator, we've been able to reach this month's goal. This will square us aware for September's mortgage bill.

Sadly, with limited characters, I cannot link the owners of each Fowldyr. Regardless, I had a lot of fun drawing them! #Fowldyr is a closed species owned by @stasanie.com.

Tbh, I'm running out of hope. I'm trying really hard to stay positive, but it's so difficult. Any donations you could spare would be greatly appreciated. Please and thank you.

My parents are going to try to sell their horse trailer, but my concern is that we're running out of things to sell. My parents don't know what they'll sell after that. I have nothing of value to sell. We're supposed to last until my mom gets a job, but...this isn't looking good.

NEW UPDATES: This month we're short *at least* $2100 instead of the usual $1200 because my mom had some troublesome spots on her skin that needed to be sent for biopsy to make sure they're not cancerous, and we had some car repairs that needed to be done. These added up to about $900, give or take.

Meanwhile we've been in the house for a handful of months and barely paying mortgage either with the help of donations by you beautiful people or by selling our possessions. As for new updates...

She has had COUNTLESS interviews since then, but NONE of them have born fruit. She's even started to search outside her field, and still nothing. It's been well over a year. She hasn't given up, and she's been searching the whole time. She's still getting interviews and has another one soon.

While my parents managed to finish building their dream home, doing so pretty much depleted their savings accounts now that they were working off one income. Mind you, my mom started job hunting right away. She got her references together, contacted former colleagues, etc.

For those unfamiliar or who need a refresher: last year my mom was let go for "company downsizing" (ie: it wasn't her fault; the execs just wanted fatter paychecks). They did this while my parents were in the middle of building their dream home.

Good news for the end of this month: My parents managed to sell their trailer for enough to cover this month and part of next month, so we're okay for now. Anything you guys donated this month will head towards next month's mortgage. Thank you guys again~
