The biggest difference is that Iran is ruled by a repressive regime, and Ukraine is attacked by a repressive regime. If Iran has a right to defend itself, Ukraine has a far greater right to do so. One must be very gullible (or worse) to believe the conspiracy theory that Ukraine is not the victim.

Certainly, but those of us who oppose tariffs shouldn't be wishing we were in a situation where we're forced to raise them. Steel tariffs not only harm the consumer, but also industries that use steel. The response to Trump should be to lower trade barriers between UK, EU, CA, etc., not raise them.
