Thank you, I'm glad! Modding really is just an exercise in asking "how much can I utilize the game's tools to achieve what I envision?" before sacrificing blood and sweat to find the answer.

I surface from the modding chamber, can't show any of what I have been working on just yet, but I am pretty excited to once I can.

In the menatime, I actually gave Dwa's sculpt a touch-up as I just wasn't happy with it at all. Enjoy my pockmarked fisherman.

Small custom expression for myself inbetween other projects, now back to commission work - sorry for the slow pace, life and my brain like to throw things at me.

You know, that's a good point. My navel as an innie was always very painful, so the thought of having it be out and bumping against stuff always made me mentally recoil. But since surgery turned mine into some weird amalgamation that isn't innie or outie, I am curious how weird they can get..

There was another dragon mod I made before the previous one, not the most polished thing for sure, though.

Thank you! Luckily this was easy to fix by assigned the proper mats, but it was pretty funny - Though I had been curious as to where the wind influence is handled, I didn't know that yet, thank you!

-- the crystal's emissive inside textools at around 0.3-0.4, there is a sweet spot for those emissive alphas, it happens very easily that it ends up getting too bright or dark, so it's really only a lot of trial and error! Above are some snippets of the crystal emmissive to give an idea!

That was funnily enough something I had struggled with previously and only figured out with this project; I ended up increasing the contrast between dark and white while also maintaining some gray steps, and overrall dialed down the brightness massively, along with this I kept the RGB values for-

--intricate that you'd have much way to differentiate between gloss, shine, wetness etc.
I also used an inverted version of the curvature for the red specular channel. Took a moment of trial and error to get all the maps at the right values though!

Thank you! And indeed, this is still the Skin shader. For the shine I used the curvature I had baked from the crystals and extracted the green layer, amped up the contrast and then used it as the roughness part of the mask texture. It's called roughness/glossiness, but in FF the shaders are not so-
