Jett Reno went from being the cool person who shows up from time to time on Discovery to being the quintessential Trek character of the modern age.

#StarfleetAcademy - season 1 finale today and it's been an odd, but enjoyable ride. It's had some bonkers moments, some lovely moments, some moments that make my eyes roll back.

Today's Star Trek #StarfleetAcademy was a mixed bag. But the main story ended really nicely with character growth and a loving nod back to a certain space station captain, with a surprise cameo (or two).

I preferred last week's more serious episode, but anyway.

No spoilers, but what I noticed was how generic the moaning was. No specifics of what was wrong with this week's episode.
