For them, running so often has killed my interest
It's aggravating because in the case of attack, I remember the old days where they didn't have commentary and any jokes got across naturally. Rather than feeling like I'm getting bludgeoned with punchlines
I get being carried away, but a lot of this just reeks of my pet peeve - if everything is awesome, nothing is, and it's hard to get hyped up when everything's apparently a 10/10.
In an era where there is so much wrestling out there, from two major companies in the US, just being there is no longer a USP - and treating folks that are on the come up as if they were world beaters today does nobody any favours.
I get commentators are there to hype up what they see, but there's hyping up and being obnoxious about it to the point where it's a turn-off.
I perhaps should be putting this into another format, but a lot of what I see in the current British scene leaves me wondering what I'm missing.
Whether it's fans who haven't been around for nor care about the past, or people whose job it is to hype up the current product, I just don't get it.
I'm sure the match was good (but it's now behind their Patreon so I'll eventually see it.) Problem is the co-commentator did a match earlier in the night and was unbearable. Screaming for simple stuff in the middle of the match like it was a false finish at Mania

It's a shame that the production of a wrestling show is enough to turn me away from a match I was really looking forward to... but I guess it's what the kids like these days. Being shouted at with fake excitement.
It's weird, but Carat week aside, I've seen zero live wrestling this year and I'm not exactly missing it.
In a year so far where I've had a real need for distractions, that's saying something...
