I still maintain his Dad had genuine talent as a spinner but I guess it’s about preferences and priorities as much as anything. I saw he hit 6 boundaries and guessed it looked good

Do you have a view on what Archie Vaughan is going to be? Clearly talented, I’m not sure if he’s a batting all-rounder, bowling all-rounder, opening batsman etc…

Not sure what's worse here, the content or that they can put out stuff like this and clearly feel immune from the usual consequences of appalling corporate communications.

Also think they are out of date on Japan, they've been remilitarising for a while and I believe it's been ramping up recently

Aye that's a beautiful shot...

Yeah it’s really good. And also very well colour coded with your profile pic 😎

The little stories around each location really make it for me, a lot of love lavished on this game

Amazingly this is less than the figure leaked last week...

That's an excellent score!

Pretty sick of waking up to headlines that start with 'Trump says...'

What he says is, most of the time, utterly irrelevant

Archive Research, Photography & Digitisation I offer archive research and document photography at The National Archives and the Imperial War Museum, alongside digitisation of privately held material. As a military historian, I regularly work …

As my maternity leave comes to an end, a reminder that I’m now offering an archive photography service primarily for museums/archives in the south east England (IWM, TNA, BL etc etc) to help make ends meet. Details below:

I see this was the year after Marathon Man in which I also thought Devane had great presence. Been looking at his filmography and he has to be one of the hardest working actors!

At least some of us know 🙂

Seen the same with my lad who is now making documentaries. IMDB edits seem to be something of a mystery and not always logical or fair.

It's a fantastic achievement for sure.

Not sure your IMDB credit as 'Additional Crew' quite captures your contribution though 🙂

Will be interesting to see the level of traffic given the decentralised nature of Iran's military and the undisclosed (as far as I know?) location of mines.

Given how long these treaties take (if done properly!) demonstrating medium term reliability to the EU is maybe going to be difficult whatever model we adopt.

Thanks Iain, get this viewpoint and have just replied to Simon on it.

As a tangential point one of the worries for us and the EU is that being a reliable partner may only survive until the next GE.

I still think it's an easy position for the LDs though 🙂

The other caveat is that my concerns are misplaced, wouldn't be the first time I am wrong about anything!

Thanks Simon, understand this. Guess my concerns are 2-fold. 1st that CU doesn't bring many tangible benefits the public see. 2nd that EU may not be too keen on negotiating quite a complex treat only to need to change it again a few years later (especially with the lack of trust they now have).

I've actually lost a bit of respect for the LibDems for banging on about a CU. Feels like a cheap way of showing pro-EU credentials without really dealing with the substantive issues.

Of course it might be that these women don't want to date men with views like these not just because they hold these views, but because so many of them tend to look a bit like Payne.

I think the public understand how difficult it is dealing with Trump, but Starmer's response to this scandal is surely just keeping it alive.

I wonder if the best response would have been 'We had an incredibly difficult situation dealing with the US & I decided to do something unorthodox to help. We cut corners & made mistakes, for which I apologise, but I did it to protect the interests of the UK'.

That's Trump inflation for you 🙂
