The skills she uses are the Lei Fa, a specific type of lightning arts that's passed down through specific clans. One of them is the zhu (祝) clan. Which Fangyi is probably related to. There's actually an interesting tale behind the Lei Fa too.

There was some speculation about Zhuang Fangyi being a Sui sibling but now that we officially have her race, she's actually closer in line with Leizi, from OG Arknights.

She's a Kylin which makes her a noble. Definitely fits her "good girl from a prominent family" vibe. It's very popular.

No offense taken. I think you're on the right track with what I mean. While I'm happy my art looks nice, it still looks very flat. It could be better.

I think another thing I'd like to work on is composition, I really like the character pages I do but the layout doesn't pop like ones done by other artists. Still lots to learn.

It's somewhat hard to explain but it's more or less about a pharmaceutical company trying to save people from rock cancer. That's...the simplest way to put it, really.

She's a type of scientist! A lot of designs in Arknights are a blend of scientific and magical elements.

Excited for Astgenne alter, she's grown so pretty and mature over the 2-3 years of game time. She's really handsome (I don't have a better way to describe it...) now which I love.

My "9 to 5" has turned into a "9 to 8 or later" the last week and a half. I haven't had much time to draw much of anything lately.

Good luck! The 2.5 year anniversary is soon so there's a bunch of free stuff they're handing out. The story is a bit hard to wrap your head around at first but things unravel over time, too.

There's a current lack of any real endgame too but if you're just starting out, I wouldn't worry too much about that.

The story is kind of lackluster at the moment but it's still fairly early on. I admit that I'm only playing because I like the base Arknights lore a lot. I'm willing to stick with it for now to see where it goes.

That said, it's a really pretty game with lots of character and base building —

I've always been big on story, so that's easily the largest factor to me playing R1999. I do like the gameplay too though, it's turn based and I like that style of combat much more than flashy action stuff.

Endfield I think is worth trying if you're bored —
