A close-up of bright yellow forsythia flowers in full bloom. The dark brown stalk and light green leaves and sepals offer a stark contrast.

If you can't get a table at Sampurna, try Indrapura. Same owners.

Is Marriott not interested in letting people book online? I don't think they're on bsky.

I just had a $5 cortado, though to be fair, that's more like 90th percentile here. Median would be $4.

Of course it only works if your webserver doesn't actually check the `content-type` of the request body, which it turns out, many didn't.

The fun thing about `enctype=text/plain` is that you could use it to CSRF a SOAP request. FORM with a single `<textarea name="<?xml version">'1.0' Encoding='UTF-8' ?>rest of payload...</textarea>`. The browser adds an = between the name and value and submits without encoding using privs of the user

Back in the day I used `<form method="POST" action="mailto:email@server?subject=foobar" enctype="text/plain">` and it would send me the result of the form submission by email.

I still have draft emails my son wrote when he was 2, randomly hitting auto complete on my phone. Somehow he managed to compose half of it in Hindi.

I'm pretty sure it's because they didn't know how to create accounts without passwords :D. I was an intern at the time and apparently the only person who found the setup worrisome.

a couple of decades ago I installed a host in a data center where all the other hosts from all the other customers had the same network accessible administrator password. The password was... "password".

The other side of the moon: An equation to predict a page's roundtrip time

Yes it was also possible to build YSlow plugins. I built one at an internal hack day to do this: tech.bluesmoon.info/2010/08/equa...

I still worked out of India then but I made it out for OSCON later that year when YSlow was announced as a Firebug plugin (plugin inception)

For emails, you didn't just write more HTML, you also have to base64 encode everything and can't gzip in transit.

tried to use it for HTML emails, but it doesn't work in Outlook. It's the only email client that insists on living in the past.
