Wow. This makes me so happy. I've been counting down the days until the Crawlers release. Not much longer now!

we're still stunned and have had this track on repeat for DAYS ๐คฉ

Two of the best to ever do it.
Galloping Ghost is a modern wonder of the world, truly.
Had the pleasure of playing a demo of this game at PAX East recently, and it's WAY better than I think most people realize. I excitedly asked some Retroware guys about its release date, assuming it would be soon-ish, but they told me it won't be until sometime next year. I was heartbroken.

Hey Derek,
I was wondering if the team is aware of the broken CRT filters on the Switch version of UFO 50. I understand that pixel perfect was added to make them look better in handheld mode, but they're still busted in docked and now with Boost Mode on the Switch 2.
Best of all, the fart move is an anti-air that sets up lots of combo opportunities for all characters and is a crucial aspect of competitive play. It's not just for shits and giggles, literally. ๐จ๐ฉ๐
There is a universal fart special move, yes. Not just a button though.
There are also universal vomit and diarrhea moves. It's the fucking best.
This makes me SO happy!
So many people there will be seeing this game for the first time, I'm sure.
Impeccable. I'm so glad that they brought it there to hopefully introduce it to lots of people who've never heard of it. Literally, unironically the best MK Klone ever made, full stop.
Did they bring Primal Rage 2 as well this year?
Devils on the Moon is out now on Catalog!!
Themed on the astrologically Occult, this single board VG-Pinball won ๐๏ธ Most Anticipated Game of 2025 at the Playdate Community Awards!

I think at this point talking to a friendly journalist about a game they're working on is probably a relief compared to the daily horrors this industry is hoisting upon them from every angle.
So glad to hear that the team is doing well, and it really shows in your work. The magazine has been fantastic since the relaunch.
Saw the Knights of Tears string quartet perform songs from Hollow Knight and Silksong with my son tonight in Orlando, FL as a birthday present from my wife.
Highly recommend to anyone who is a fan of the games and Christopher Larkin's memorable scores.

Hell yeah.
More importantly: Hotline Miami 2 soundtrack
Enough is enough with Sony this generation. They're ruining the lives of developers and making this easily the worst Playstation generation in history with their mismanagement.
I propose a wide-scale #FUCKSONY movement.
If Konami deserved one a decade ago, then Sony sure as hell deserves one now.
EVO is effectively dead then. What a damn shame.
Five different series of Game Player's with slightly different titles.
A treat for Friday the 13th:
We've added the near-complete run of Game Player's magazine to our digital library! 232 issues across 12 (!) different series

Whoa! This is a huge deal! I'm gonna dive into those tonight for sure.
Thank you for all your hard work on the digital library! It's an invaluable resource.
Raskin to Bondi: "You're not showing a lot interest in the victims. Whether it's Epstein's human trafficking ring or the homicidal government violence against citizens in Minneapolis, as AG you're siding with the perpetrators and ignoring the victims."
Just shouting this into the void in hopes that some fortunate soul heeds my words and buys the game.
Sektori is one of the most addictive, challenging, and satisfying twin-stick shooters ever made. I can't put it down.
Time to reinstall this bad boy on my Switch 2.
I had a great time discussing Tattoo Assassins at length alongside lead programmer Kevin Martin on this episode of the Secret Characters Podcast, which goes live tonight at 7pm EST.
Kevin regaled us with recollections from his time working on the game, and I offered a player/fan's perspective.
This is one of the funniest posts I've seen on Bluesky thus far. ๐๐
Real Plumber Plays SUPER MARIO BROS. For The First Time
The three stages with reinstated sound effects are:
Sargasso Sea: ship horns
Blood Sewer: bubbling noises
Jungle: loud bird calls
There might be other stages with subtle ambient noises that were fixed by this as well, but those are the three that I have heard myself.
To ring in the new year, we have yet another round of Tattoo Assassins emulation fixes courtesy of FBneo dev dink.
The latest FBneo (standalone and Libretro) build enables the missing background sound effects on certain stages (two examples below).
Now it's nearly perfect on both MAME and FBneo. ๐
Best Of 2025: The Making Of Ape Escape, Sony's Groundbreaking Platformer That Unlocked The DualShock's Potential.
I'm more of a Thrill Kill man, myself. But Wu Tang: Shaolin Style was a nice consolation prize after TK got cancelled by EA.
I'm just gonna say it. Neon Inferno has the best pixel art I've seen since the original Metal Slug trilogy. I'm just in awe of what they've accomplished here, and the game itself is great too.
Bonus points for shipping with a competent CRT filter as well.
