@scarredforlife.bsky.social This included 'Mummy Daddy' in which an actor playing a mummy in a horror movie got a call his wife was in labour while he was filming, meaning he has to rush to hospital in full mummy gear, including a stand-off with a mob just like Ross described. Hope that helps!

@scarredforlife.bsky.social 1/2 I'm not on Facebook, so I hope you'll see this. Just listened to the brilliant Ross Noble episode, and I'm pretty sure the unknown memory he had if a mummy was from the TV show Amazing Stories, some of which was repackaged as a movie in other countries
One of the final photos of David Bowie, wearing a suit and hat and laughing out loud. Still missed after 10 years...

2/2 I wore it to work, and hopefully got you a handful of new listeners from curiousity! Anyway, I look forward to more episodes, and - in the kindest possible way - hope Terry keeps findings to be disapointed about. Have a wonderful Xmas and Hogmanay.

@sodisappointed.bsky.social Hiya! I'm on a bit of a break from Blue Sky at the moment (possibly until the New Year), but I thought I'd quickly log in to let you know that your lovely little gift has made it safely to Australia. Thank you *so* for it - I utterly *love* the little badge. 1/2

Perfect Tom Stoppard story from DTel obituary:
His response to a letter from Harold Pinter canvassing support for a proposal to have the Comedy Theatre in London rechristened the Pinter Theatre, “Have you thought, instead, of changing your name to Harold Comedy?”
99p for a poignant and powerful time travel tale readers are calling 'gripping', 'a beautiful read', 'exceptional' and 'one of the most enjoyable and compelling books I've read in a long time'?

A screenshot of The Mind of Evil, showing Michael Sheard as Dr Summers sitting in his office. On the wall behind him is an eye test chart showing a series of letters: the first three accidentally spell 'ACE'.
Anywhere, here's some evidence that Fenric was behind the events of The Mind of Evil

Terry was enjoying some quiet time with their paints, working on a portrait of their favourite actor, and then someone reminded them what day it was…
I'm not a "CHANGING THE SEA DEVILS TO HOMO AQUA IS WOKE GONE MAD" fan.
I'm a "Homo refers to a genus of apes of which Homo Sapiens is part, so Aqua Sapiens would have been a more sensible name, but maybe Homo Aqua is another in-universe, human-applied misnomer and that's the point" fan.

Depicted is a mock Honey Nut Cerritos Star Trek Lower Decks cereal. In lieu of the Honey Nut Bee, the box features Doctor T'Ana. Some of the cereal is shaped like the The USS Cerritos. Instead of General Mills the cereal is by Gene Mills. Text on the box reads "CAN HELP LOWER DECKS' CHOLESTEROL AS PART OF A HEALTHY DIET". Noteworthy text on the top reads "Tribble and Gluten Free".
I dusted off a meme I made a few years back for a Facebook reply, so now I'm posting it on Bluesky too.
(Meme created entirely via traditional Photoshop - i.e. none of that AI nonsense.)

Oh no, this is tremendously sad. Jack Shepherd was great in everything. He was fantastic in his big roles but he'd also pop up in smaller ones when you weren't expecting him and it was always a welcome surprise.
Uncomfortable
A six-panel comic. In the first panel, a yellow warbler says "Hey so I'm going to go out on a limb here." In panels two through five, the warbler hops along a long branch against a blue sky with clouds. In panel 6, it stops at the end of the branch and sings.
As the year comes to an end, I'm reposting some of the comics I made this year, including this ridiculous thing.
