Adelman cost DEN that game by playing JV. He knows AG at backup 5 is their best option but chose to not take a team that beat them two years ago seriously from the jump.
Once they got to the right lineup in the 2nd half, they continued to put two on the ball despite having a lineup that can switch.

The 65-game rule...
G: Mitchell
G: Harden
F: Strus
F: Mobley
C: Allen
Ellis backup G
Merrill backup G
Tyson backup F
Wade backup F
Mobley/Allen staggered as backup C
Unless it’s Tyson/Strus as one of the 3 “Guards,” a healthy CLE team doesn’t need small lineups.
Schroeder can be alternative option based on matchup
I always love these lists from my friend. Check it out!
As always, Garrett’s look at the last year in cinema is a fun one. I learned about a few movies I hadn’t even heard of before!
Give it a read!
With the Oscar’s coming up tomorrow, I have my final 2025 recap to share.
For my 11th Annual movie list, I watched 100 movies that were released in the calendar year and rank them from 100 to 1. Hopefully you find some movies to check out!

Schroeder/Porter don’t matchup well against BOS.
BOS loves to sit in the gaps to prevent penetration so you need ideal floor spacing to punish them for over-helping. Brown/Tatum also punish smaller guards on the other end.
Fortunately, Strus/Allen should be back for a potential playoff series.
Okay but we’re both originally from America.
And even after looking this up, Germany is not included in your list of European countries that find this offensive.
We didn’t take this photo for YOU specifically.
So bringing this up at all is incredibly self absorbed and frankly rude.
Other notable highlights (miniature wunderland, nature/zoology museum, saxophone quartet):
(2/2):
Committed to a day trip to Bremen, which was about a 50 minute ride on the high speed train. This was definitely worth the effort (1/2):
2/2:
Hamburg is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. So many magnificent looking buildings/statues (1/2):
Other food highlights included this wonderful bowl of ramen, the best piece of cheesecake I’ve ever tasted, sweet potato fries, and delectable baked potatoes (courtesy of Matt):
There’s a big Turkish community in Hamburg and I enjoyed their culinary exploits (Kebab sampler, baklava):
Had some delicious Italian food (pizza sandwich, Matt and I had the ham/salami calzone, Tosh had the lasagna, pizza with salami):
Had some amazing food. Tried some national staples (German Fish & Chips, Schnitzel, Currywurst, Mecklenburg Pineapple Soup):
Hamburg/Bremen trip in the books! Thanks to @couchmochi.bsky.social & @mattmurray.bsky.social for being wonderful hosts/guides during my first ever visit to Europe.
Making the conference finals in the East < winning the West
They experienced and nearly won a second round series against a team in Dallas that made the Finals.
They were inexperienced sure, but they were a bit more tested than this current Detroit team.
Team is bad for years, prices never get cheaper. Team is good for one year, prices skyrocket.
I would also argue phone bans would be a long term plan to impact positive change.
I don’t think a kid having their phone one year, and then having it ripped away the next, is going to be happy about that change immediately nor instantly become smarter because of it.
Let’s see some long term data.
We accept that social media companies are trying to monopolize our attention. There is agreement about wanting kids to pay attention to their teachers/professors at school so they can learn.
We all get distracted by our phones. Notifications are designed to draw you in (& away from the real world).
While I acknowledge the reality that mental health issues are impacted by a multitude of factors, dismissing evidence & calling research by “The National Survey on Drug Use & Health (which is used in Haidt’s book),” pop psychology because it can’t account for every single variable is flat out wrong.
Never let Dwight Howard judge the dunk contest again.
Also, make Brent Barry a permanent fixture as a judge moving forward.
Make the three point contest the main event.
I’ve just fixed All Star Saturday.
I’m not sure I’ve see a better example of “it doesn’t actually ‘know’ anything”
This is the way to make league pass tolerable. I connected it to my YouTube TV for several years and this season connected it through Amazon and it works flawlessly.
You can also watch replays on Amazon too so you almost never have to bother with the NBA App which is where things go south.
I highly recommend Pentiment.
Its not as funny as Disco Elysium, but if you value a dialogue heavy game with good writing, dialogue decisions that affect the story, and walking around exploring a city/village, it scratched a lot of the same itches for me.
I agree.
