This story, from @natezuke.bsky.social, is absolutely wild. A trans woman who never changed her gender marker was issued a letter invalidating her license. At the DMV they cut up her license, which had an "M" marker.

Too often when discussing trans rights, we’re forced to be on the defensive, as Republicans wage attacks.
Today, we take the opportunity to look forward by introducing my Trans Bill of Rights, a comprehensive vision to provide protections for all trans and nonbinary people.
But age-gating laws are about much more than restricting porn- Republican lawmakers are using the infrastructural power of the Internet to build a surveillance & censorship machine.

A hand-drawn illustration by Alfred depicting a row of large, upright domino-like blocks labeled with different human rights: 'Trans Rights,' 'Gay Rights,' 'Women's Rights,' 'Free Speech,' 'Freedom of Religion,' and more. People are seen holding up the first block to prevent it from falling, symbolizing how human rights are interconnected. At the bottom, the text reads: 'United We Stand – Divided We Fall

Had a meeting this week where we talked about what to do if ICE shows up on campus. They asked us to watch the videos on www.wehaverights.us from @aclu.org as well. Bite-sized videos that are easy to remember. Even if you don't personally have to worry, we've all got people in our lives who do!

Loving the new @davidplunkert.bsky.social poster for my March shows in Portsmouth, Burlington and Great Barrington! Why not head over to his website and buy a copy for yourself? All $$$$ goes to the artist!

Polio is no good! We should not get rid of the polio vaccine!
Repost if you agree: polio is bad!
