And I don't disagree, I just don't think trying to drag people down and deny children opportunities is the way forward. Id rather the private schools take on the most unfortunate children in our society those in care.. maybe break the cycle for care kids whose outcomes are awful by and large.
No and I get that, but for me in think there are other ways the government can exploit the private sector, say each year has to take in a number of kids in government care. For example.

But then again, having active parents at home will improve results for children so no matter what your ideological position parents can have their children Jump the que by virtue of their time and effort. So for childern in school it's a lottery.
I don't agree I'm afraid. They'll either reach high achievements or they won't. Private education isn't some stamp that automatically gifts results, the young people need to achieve the grades all be it easier.
Yeah I'm not one for overly taxing private schools... Of all the things rich people spend their money I'd rather they spend it on educating their kids.
