The new crafting menu is a gigantic improvement, especially when combined with being able to craft from all nearby chests.
Other smaller changes are appreciated too, but none of them have the constant/consistent impact that the new crafting menu does.
That was my thought too. The world is so varied and has so many fascinating niche things to really dig in to.
