I like the satirical German "Bielefield doesn't exist" conspiracy.
Roughly equivalent to something like "Newport (wales) doesn't exist" here. Have you ever met anyone from Newport?

Not when you need to buy a replacement last minute, then its hundreds
Definitely not true everywhere, most european short haul is with budget airlines that make Spirit/Frontier look like premium service. Miss your flight and it's a full new ticket for you.
I don't know about other countries, but the 5am airport bar pre-holiday pint of beer is a British tradition at this point
Think he's gone the day after the locals
On the grid instability thing you're basically right. Power has to be used as it's generated, and if there's too much generated the frequency will rise.
Solar is usually connected to directly to local grids, so during peak solar generation hours the draw from the national grid can get very low.
If this is true (and I am *very* dubious) then you'd be well into revolution territory - which probably won't end well for the tech that too so many jobs or any executives who developed/introduced it.
Being candid won't help you.
"30% of people, mainly middle class, are about to become unemployed" is the sentence usually uttered in the first episode of a six party BBC documentary about a revolution
In short, did you know you can just not be annoyed with people
Also "30% of people, mostly white collar are gonna be unemployed" implies all government budgets worldwide are gonna collapse outside of like oil states.
Oh do fuck off you deluded tanky racist
It's 63% left-of-centre votes vs 36% right wing at least. And the voting system isn't complete rubbish so no chance reform get a majority off 27% there.
And thanks to that we keep setting wind power records in the UK every few months. This year another 3.6 GW of offshore wind is going to come online, and the grid operator expects to run the grid with zero fossil fuels at points this summer.
Map of northwest europe and the north sea, showing offshore wind sites built and approved for building
The SA of offshore wind is the North Sea.
A chart of reactor sizes showing a BWR, PWR, CANDU, RBMK and an AGR. The AGR is at least twice the size of any of the others and has rhe lowest power output.
Here in the UK we built our own designs up until about 1990, they're gas-cooled and nothing to do with the BWR/PWR design.
Yes it is the giant reactor bigger twice the size of the RBMK in this diagram.
It's actually massively dropped in the last 5 years, though still pricier than onshore. Drop is mostly because the turbines went from 5-8 MW to 14-15 MW.
It's worth having here in Northern Europe where we're a bit pressed for space on land, dark half the year, but have plenty of shallow windy seas!
I still think his "everyone" there doesn't actually include all of humanity
The sewage out of the whitehouse is probably 30% cocaine too
Bring in auto standards that screw tesla, investigate it for all the self-driving bullshit claims.
Drug test government contractor employees, including Musk as CEO of SpaceX. Anyone who fails for an illegal drug is fired or the company loses all gov contracts.
Stuff like Zuckerberg being unable to be fired, because of his prefential shares, despite spaffing $60 billion on VR that looked like miis from 2007. That just shouldn't be possible
Not American but I went to the shop earlier and no one was screaming or fighting? Do these people ever leave their mum's basements?
In case you’re confused - the £100k of tax Richard Tice failed to pay here is totally different to the
- £92k of tax not properly withheld on dividends
- the £600k side-stepped via highly aggressive tax avoidance
Industrial scale grifting revealed by @danneidle.bsky.social and Gabriel Pogrund
I do wonder how the clash between the rural conservationist + NIMBY wing of the greens and the urban left wing bit works out longer term, especially with their current populist leadership
Losing their seat in the Senedd is an artefact of the new (and IMO less proprtional) voting system raising the threshold for a seat, their actual vote will be roughly level with last time.
Nightmare blunt rotation that
Greens doing well may also boost them again, as happened after the Denton by-election.
Lib dems also likely to do well in these locals.
Reform UK chief Nigel Farage has accepted over half a million pounds from foreign governments, companies and donors since becoming an MP.

Enough grounds now surely for HMRC to take a closer look at Richard Tice’s tax affairs www.thetimes.com/uk/politics/...
