Gulliver’s Pizza. It was like wandering into a 18th century antique gallery/grotto/dilapidated palace where every surface was stacked with beautiful treasures and carvings and hundreds of antique chandeliers and shag lamps hung from the ceiling. Also you could get pizza.
then ep 8 is Republic of Pirates and the split, and 9/10 is a double ep finale where nothing is rushed, the mourning and wedding gets twice as much screen time, and it ends with Ed and Stede sharing a kiss on the porch and calling each other babe
The next morning, Ed wakes up in Stedes arms, Stede blinks awake, they smile dopily in the light and start kissing again, cut to Ed making breakfast so Izzy’s snark about making your bf blush was accurate. Ep 7 plays out as an afterglow filler ep
Torture scene, Lucius and Pete save the day, Ned dies, and the cabin scene plays out slowly and naturally, leading to the romantic first time in the script
season 2 ep 6, Stede and Ed sexual tension ep, fleeting glances, accidentally bumping into each other while everybody rolls their eyes, crew decides to have a party to get them to cut loose, doll Stede up and rip a few buttons off his shirt, Ned shows up AFTER they start to slow dance #ofmd #ofmds2
