It even comes with a model of Link’s Awakening, which no joke, was my favourite game growing up 🧚 🗡️
The cartridge has a mock battery inside, which I’m guessing refers to the fact that Zelda has a battery powered save file. Mario Land, the other cart in the set doesn’t have it!

I’m scared to go back and run my old reports, I use base_size everywhere 🫣
I mean yeah, these are all obvious in retrospect.

That said, I do wish the intro wasn’t 5 minutes of personal YouTube drama. All this self centered bickering and infighting is the worst part of open source dev.
Cool to hear these thoughts, especially in the subscribe-to-everything hellscape we’re in today, where comfortable tools are behind pay walls, and open editors feel archaic, though they’re free.
I don’t do any audio work, but just spent an hour watching a really thoughtful and entertaining essay on remaking Audacity 🎧 Interesting to learn how open source tools are remade, especially all of the UX and HCD stuff.

1. The data it was trained & evaluated on
2. The code
3. Model architecture
4. Model weights.
DeepSeek only gives 3, 4. And I'll see the day that anyone gives us #1 without being forced to do so, because all of them are stealing data.
Big fan of the live exercises, even works well on mobile!
About to spend 80kr/month until march, just to watch severance episodes the day they come out.

I think shinylive runs entirely on webassembly, and the implementation just is better on chrome and mobile safari
Actually, I find that it’s because I was using safari on macOS. Chrome must have much better wasm support, because the problems with my apps just disappear when using it.
