To find out which operations have been deleted, we have to wait until the first instance is fully synchronized.

If you are running a (verification) plcbundle instance, you will have to delete all data and start over.

We have the first CHAIN SPLIT ⛓️‍💥 on plcbundle!

The reason is the (announced) deletion of invalid operations on plc.directory, which took place in the last few hours.

We apologize to everyone for the unavailability of atscan.net

The growth of Bluesky is unfortunately greater than we anticipated, and as an experimental project, we unfortunately do not have the capacity to maintain and operate this service at this time.

This is wild, you can see all the public PDSs and dive into them,

Including all of the test accounts I've been making.

DID handle verification on your own domain - good

DID handle verification on your own domain - good

DID handle verification on your own domain - bad

DID handle verification on your own domain - bad

Real-time DNS check now works on each DID profile if the handle is set on its own domain.

Example (good): https://atscan.net/did:plc:ragtjsm2j2vknwkz3zp4oxrd

Example (bad): https://atscan.net/did:plc:vwzwgnygau7ed7b7wt5ux7y2

Everything you say and do here is "on the record", even more so than it normally is on the web, because all your posts are a) cryptographically signed, b) trivially replicable to other instances etc.

This is very much by design, and whether it's a good or bad depends on context

Pity we don't have real-time updates yet, so you can see how users are rushing :)
In the first 10 minutes it's about 600 new users

We just enabled account sign-ups again, so any outstanding invite codes can now be used to create an account.

Thanks for your patience!

We will temporarily be pausing Bluesky sign-ups while our team continues to resolve the existing performance issues. We’ll keep you updated when invite codes will resume functionality.

We’re excited to welcome more users to our beta soon!

My own PDS has faster response times than bsky.social 😎

This is mostly a geolocation thing, and also the fact that I only serve 1 user (me), but I'm still taking the W

Brilliant project over here 💯🙌

The plan is to record any outages as well. PDS owners will be able to sign up for notifications.

We have the first chart! 📈 You can now see the response time graph on the PDS detail page.

Currently we are monitoring PDS only from Prague, Czech Republic (Central Europe), but we are planning to deploy also US and Japan node.

Yes, that would be super cool! Identification of the runtime implementation is definitely on the to-do list.

backend team is very proud to announce that there are now more DIDs registered with plc.directory than there are DID methods!

@atscan.net is so cool, and is immediately critical infrastructure 😅

really helpful for exploring atproto federation sandbox instances, checking if a PDS is live, where a DID lives, etc. nice!
