I don’t plan to make political posts often here to protect a calm space, but I just emailed my senators to urge No on RFK Jr. So many issues to speak out on right now it was hard to pick one, but as a pediatrician in my non-dice life, it felt like a place to start. Hoping to make it a habit.

Accidentally deleted my mold making post when trying to quote reblog (whoops), but caps are now poured! Photo is of cleaned up bases ready for silicone.

The gambit worked! I polished the geode set, a regular set, and two minis before I had to stop. Not enough for a load in the tumbler but progress!

I’m forcing myself to polish one of the sets that needed a fair amount of patching as a psychological gambit that will either a) make me feel motivated because I’ve successfully finished them so I can move on to other sets or b) at least get them out of the way before I rage quit.

Yeah, that’s what happened to me too. It was so sad! But I’ll be cheering for you to figure it out because I’d love to see the designs you come up with!

My only attempt at the dragon skin technique ended up with the bubble scales being too big and not really fitting in my molds. So I feel you there.

Can vouch that it is so much less painful to step on! I have never bled due to the crystal d4s.

I love making crystal d4s! They feel so great to hold and stab me far less than caltrop d4s. 😂 I still make both since some people feel strongly about the little pyramid guys but I prefer this shape.

Since I was never on the bird app, my comfort level for posting my thoughts is pretty low. So please bear with me as I continue to share dice and not a ton else at the moment.

New dice masters arrived!
I got a new 30mm chonk (non-logo), a 50mm chonk (because there can always be bigger dice), platform inserts for all of my chonk sizes, a filigree blank for my 40mm, and a mold housing for the big guy. I’m so excited (and have a lot of hand polishing ahead of me)!

Attempting liquid core is on my wishlist for techniques to try this year! I just find it so intimidating.
