Happy National Oregon Day from CSS!
CSS is proud to serve Lane County in the gorgeous state of Oregon. We love taking trips with our clients to experience all the wonders that Oregon has to offer, from waterfalls to evergreen forests, and much more!

The federal government recommends individuals spend no more than 30% of income on rent (including utilities). It doesn’t reflect today’s financial reality.
Study after study shows a link between rising rent and homelessness. People are getting priced out of having homes.

The Access Center offers showers, laundry, clothing, haircuts, & more for unhoused CSS clients. With a Lowe's Hometowns Grant, we've been upgrading it to improve dignified, accessible services for the unhoused.
In need of shelter, a shower, a smile? Get on the CSS waitlist at 1160 Grant Street.
In a year, CSS provided 45,555 nights of shelter for the unhoused. We did it with a staff count of 37. How many desks do you think the CSS Main Office has for staff? The answer: far from enough!

We need cup of noodle soups. For some folks, it’s their only food for the day, and for most, it’s their only warm meal. Sleeping bags, coffee, and warm socks are other high-need items.
Bring donations to 1160 Grant Street between Tue-Fri, 1-4pm, or order from our wishlist: https://loom.ly/5ZFnD3Q
CSS Offices and the Access Center will be closed today, February 16th for Presidents' Day. We'll see you tomorrow with our regular hours!

Cities can choose to criminalize homelessness....or they can respond to the homelessness crisis with real solutions.
Sweeps & bans don't work. Decades of evidence have taught us that affordable housing, wraparound support, mental health care, job training, tenant protections, & rent assistance do.
7 years ago, Greg entered the CSS program. Now, he’s been in his own apartment for 2 years, works at UofO, and is celebrating 7 years of sobriety.
“CSS changed my life. They gave me time to get back on my feet, get my priorities in place, and hook me up with Section 8. CSS gives absolute hope.”
