the two most recent are classic suppression of the press & using the justice system to attack political enemies

I'm pretty sure Kezia comes from a well-intentioned place. And I'm all for good faith engagement with people whose minds have been poisoned against trans people. But this is madness: JK Rowling is a toxic sewer of hate, aligned with fascists, and it's unforgivable for Stonewall to praise her.

Asked about JK Rowling’s opposition to trans rights, Dugdale said: “I have a huge respect for JK Rowling. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting her before and I think her story and how she came to be this prolific, incredible children’s writer in this city as a single mum writing in a cafe is phenomenal and an inspiration to so many women across the world.

“I think she’s been a really powerful political advocate [for] improving the lot of single mums, making a case for tackling poverty and inequality in all its forms, and there is absolutely a place for her in public life to share her experiences and tell her story and make a difference.”

When Angela Rayner underpaid £40,000 in stamp duty, Richard Tice said it was "morally completely indefensible” and she should resign if she had “any moral decency”.

Now we learn he set up four shell companies that let him avoid paying £100,000 he owed in tax and to then transfer the cash to Reform

I have always been a bit reticent about Stonewall.

I got a feeling that it has always been about the organisation more than the cause. Means to an end etc.

Just my sense over the years.

Wülfy.

One place at your bloods and the lie will be exposed.

You can't run (not in your condition anyway) and you can't hide.

It isn’t just the comment. The man is vile to the core.

The Internet and SM have given his ilk a massive megaphone to broadcast their foulness.

Olly Robbins is just the latest: a guide to the high-profile exits under Starmer’s tenure There has been a steady succession of departures by ministers and senior officials in the past two years

Starmer's Labour. What a rogues gallery.

The only one who doesn't belong on the list is Sue Gray who lost a turf war with McSweeney, somebody who epitomised the term conniving little shit and over mighty subject.

No wonder Starmer is in trouble right now.

Evening Kuntie.

He used to be on the staff of the Financial Times where he was generally derided by readers BTL as an arse Kissinger Tory boy.

He wrote a ‘biography’ of George Osborne. Though how he got himself and his laptop up Gideon’s arse is open to debate.
