'ӨΛƧIƧ' 2005. Twenty years ago I made this portrait. It is crazy to me sometimes how fast time seems to go. Shot during the rounds of promotion for their album 'Don't Believe the Truth’, this was shot for US press and was my first time working with the band. 58th Street hostess Ms. Belle Livingstone, portrayed by Yvette Robinson, and The 58th Street Stompers. I recently worked with the new London jazz club '58th Street’ to produce new imagery for the club, including portraits of the house band 'The 58th Street Stompers’, and the other artists who perform there. Brought to life by The Lost Estate, and combining performance art with meticulous world-building, the club and whole experience has been getting amazing reviews. One of my favourite commercial projects, we got so many strong images of the many artists involved in the club and everyone was so great to work with. The promotors needed a lot of strong images of the artists and we spent some time creating these on the main stage in the venue.
