Supporting the Learning of Chinese as a Second Language: Implications for Language Education Policy This book systematically reviews and analyses the policy of Chinese as a second language in the multilingual and multicultural contexts.

With Elizabeth Loh and Mark Shum from HK University also edited this volume on Chinese as a second language. We look at immigrant learners in HK and new learners of Chinese (ie not ‘background’ speakers) mainly in Australia; original research data and concepts.
