Oh, I gotta show this to Ken 😄
Photos of my most watched actor and most watched director of 2025 — both of whom are David Lynch
Those who know me will not be surprised by this
What is Tackistan?
What is a pack mewl?
Movie posters for my first and last watched films of 2025: Eyes Wide Shut and The Wolf House
Two great weird bookends for 2025.
I then spent November and December binge-watching all six seasons of The Sopranos 😁
HE SAID WHAT
I did it! I reached my 2025 reading goal of 60 books. Gonna try to squeeze in a few more before the year ends 😊
Movie posters for the last four films I watched this week. From left to right: Santa Sangre, Absentia, The Conjuring, Annabelle
1. My first Jodorowsky ❤️
2. Impressive indie debut by Mike Flanagan
3. A film supposedly “based on a true story“ that feels a bit too much like a PSA for baptizing your children
4. Let creepy dolls lie
Happy #LetterboxdFriday! #LastFourWatched #FilmSky

Image shows four movie posters representing the last four films I watched this week From left to right: Phantom Thread, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson; Unsane, directed by Steven Soderbergh; Sex, Lies, and Videotape, directed by Steven Soderbergh; Bubble, directed by Steven Soderbergh
This was the week I realized that I had never seen any Soderbergh films.
This was also the week I set out to remedy that.

I now want a cup that says Black Medicine Water
The most perfect description ever
What is Decking The Halls With Owls Of Hollering?
That song was in my head ALL DAY that day
repeating the phrase "full books" as I slam my head against my desk until I pass out
I now want to watch Bubble just on the strength of that movie poster alone.
Image consists of four movie posters representing the last four films I watched this week. From left to right: Memories Of Murder by Bong Joon Ho; Magnolia by Paul Thomas Anderson; Only Angels Have Wings by Howard Hawks; Gosford Park by Robert Altman
My #LastFourWatched are two films to finish my 2025 Criterion Challenge (yay!) and two different takes from two brilliant directors on how life is weird and beautiful and hard.

Cover art for the album Rumours by Fleetwood Mac. Image is a sepia toned black and photo against a solid sepia colored background. The photo shows band members Mick Fleetwood and Stevie Nicks in a very stylized pose. Fleetwood is standing on the left, dressed in a 16th century style shirt, vest, knee-length pants, and hose. He is bearded and his hair is pulled back in a ponytail. Hi body is facing forward with his right hand on his hip His left leg is slightly bent with his left foot resting on an ornate low cushioned stool. From the crotch of his pants a pair of solid ovoid objects resembling testicles are dangling from a string. He is looking to his left at Nicks. She is at his left side, wearing a black gauzy dress and ballet toe shoes laced at her ankles. She is standing sideways toward Fleetwood, but looking away from him. She is clutching his land hand with her left hand, in which there is a clear crystal ball. One of her legs is bent and draped over Fleetwood’s left leg and her right arm, draped with flowing gauze, is positioned out to her right and back. She seems to be in a dance pose, mid-twirl. In the upper right corner of the cover is the band name in an ornate black all-caps font. Beneath that, in the same font but smaller, is the word RUMOURS.
