Plucked the first springtime tick off one of the pups just now — they’re tiny! Barely 1/8 inch long. We were in our backyard on grass that hasn’t started to grow yet; just moss-ridden yellow meh that might as well be dirt. It’s going to be a long summer! I'm sceptical of "AI for everything", but as a tool under scrutiny from experienced mets, it has value. Google's US forecast model has shown solid promise. If EC can improve the CMC, etc. using AI, then have at it. One more deterministic model can't hurt. It's not like AI will be *the* forecaster.

My pups would like to urge everyone to get their four-legged friends on a tick regiment ASAP: At the clinic for a routine visit last evening. Vet told us that ticks are out in force, and they're tiny. Lyme and Anaplasmosis symptoms appearing in as little as 7 and 3 days, respectively, this year. 🪲🩸🐾

Dumb question: Where can one purchase a motorcycle helmet without looking like an awkward odd duck who doesn't belong in said helmet-selling store?

Mine are: Slow awkward grin, retch, retch, retch, retch, "oh god, get her to a pee pad, quick!", retch, retch, yak. Pause. Retch, retch, yak, done. Usually 20-30 seconds warning to relocate the chihuahua to an easy-to-clean surface.
