What I like a lot about this reinterpretation is that you slowed it down a little, and allowed Lu Guang to be more vulnerable and grieve the fact that he’s losing Cheng Xiaoshi. The despair of losing someone dear to you, and you’re unable to help as you watch the light slowly leave their eyes….

Or should be, bc Lg’s decision to dive that far back allows him to relive everything. But.. it just won’t feel the same anymore (and it certainly wasn’t)
