Couldn't care less about this Michael Jackson biopic for so many reasons though. The guy needs to stick to making dad action movies

Antoine Fuqua is insanely hit and miss. More than most directors are honestly but he's got some good stuff in that filmography. The Equalizer movies rule, Olympus Has Fallen is a fu enough time. Training Day is Training Day. It's just a shame his lows are so fucking low
This is Equalizer erasure. Low key one of Denzels best performances
Another first time Linklater watch after the incredible time I had going through the Before trilogy the other week
The show is the only thing I havent watched yet! Need to get on it soon
I havent seen this movie but theres no way these people talking De Palma isn't a great time
Still riding the high from my series viewing last year. Cant fucking wait for this

It's been a good few days!

Always going to push back on people writing off entire genres. Too many people do it and, because of that, are depriving themselves of so many movies they would adore despite misgivings about a genre in general
Knowing how much Max loves this movie, I'm delighted somewhere let him write about it. Guarantee its some great stuff too
Always love getting you on, thanks for joining!
Thanks Matt! Hope you enjoy!
Thanks Andy! Enjoy!
Just say the word any time and I'm there!
Between the premise and Brian Duffields last two movies, I'm 100% in
Was really great to finally meet you properly. Thanks again for coming on. Hope we can do it again soon!
First new guest in a while with the great @akdonelly.bsky.social who also requested the presence of the equally great @tjmackey432.bsky.social. Had a really great time talking to both these guys about a great PTA movie and why Tom Cruise is a more versatile actor than he gets credit for
"Val Kilmer, who died last April, stars-"
No he fucking doesn't, read the beginning of the sentence.
Keep seeing this clip of the boxer David Haye on I'm A Celebrity talking complete bullshit about this "ugly duckling theory" and the amount of people in the comments of it claiming that he's right is honestly fucking worrying
File this one under the category of movies that are every bit as good as you hear they are. Chow Yun Fat is the fucking man
Another Arrow arrival!
Taking this with a pinch of salt but possibly very interesting if true. Feel like 90% of the time our classic action stars announce some kind of sequel to an old movie, it doesnt actually happen anyway
Gonna be happening to me weekly at this rate haha
Its becoming way too regular an occurrence where I think my last viewing of a movie was like 1-2 years ago and then I look at Letterboxd and its been 6-7 years.
This post brought to you by me watching Cellular for the first time since apparently 2019 tonight
Bringing this thought back because I stumbled across the show Relic Hunter on Prime this week and, whilst Ive never seen a full episode of that show, you better believe I remember that banger of a theme song
Coming up this week........
Its the whole reason I started it! Haha
Found out this is on Tubi now. Feels like I shouldn't have gone this far knowing some of you without watching it yet 😂
