Lewis Miley was excellent in the first half tonight. Ran the game. His passing is excellent off both feet given his age. A couple of mistakes but very encouraging. Great to see osula get a couple but still think he looks better from wide rather than CF . Good option though and loads of fun

At least the isak sale puts that on the horizon for a while and gives us the option to strengthen in Jan if we need to. Need a striker now tho

Fair enough. I like Miley. Think his weight of pass is excellent. He’s clearly trusted to receive the ball in tight spaces by his teammates which says a lot. If he stays fit he should get a lot of minutes this season and Id expect him to push on. We will see

Longstaff was a great servant and made the most of what he had. Miley’s technical and passing level is echelons above Sean’s. He’s got a chance of being a really good player - he’s still very young for a CM. Lack of pace is main concern but he has improved physically for sure
