We were grateful to be a part of the Spring Grocery Giveaway at Chopin Park, #Chicago, organized by 39th Dist. State Rep. Will Guzzardi, 19th Dist. State Rep. Lindsey LaPointe, 30th Ward Alderwoman Ruth Cruz and Illinois Sen. Graciela Guzman. Together with local orgs, we fed 200+ of our #neighbors!
Today our #Chicago staff teamed up with students from Michele Clark Magnet High School, Marie Sklodowska Curie Metropolitan High School and Benito Juarez High School to pack and distribute #hygiene kits and #food to their neighbors in need. Thank you for being true examples of #humanitarian service!
This evening, Executive Director Halil Demir was honored to meet and address members of the United Muslim American Association of Law Enforcement Professionals at our sponsored dinner! He emphasized the importance of community and thanked our Muslim officers in Chicago for their service.
