I find Scribus extremely *meh* to use. But it's still a better long-term option than Affinity IMO, just because it doesnt leave you tied to a format for which support can disappear.

Obviously this isn't really much worse than InDesign, but InDesign (or a successor) is a bit more likely to still be around in a decade's time, plus InDesign has IDML export which is supported by other software such as Scribus (not 100% accurately, but close enough you can fix any errors)
The thing that makes Affinity a no-go for me is that it uses its own unique file format and has online licensing (even for the free version). So if they pull the licensing server you've potentially lost the software AND have no way of opening your source files in anything else.
It will, but when it finishes burning out we can set fire to any of the other spare planets in the system and move it into the sun's place.
Leifeld, inconsistent? <gasp> Never! :D

Congratulations, you have pre-qualified to run for government.

They seem to be offering to do customs as well as the ones listed.
Giving this small game company a boost!

I'm still here!
Sorry.
Makes me feel so old when I see "army box" and still think there'll be 25-50 minis inside it...
Oh, such an unfair question. How can I pick *just one*?
Cat!
I move a piece of furniture and behind it there'll be a ballpoint pen, a couple of dozen Lego pieces, and three bits off Warhammer models that I'd given up on ever seeing again.
This list of some Black Library people on Bluesky is very handy!
Honse!
Fair. At least the rest is a good step in the right direction!
Considering changing my name to "Cron Daemon" for marketing purposes to get past the spam filters.

I've never glued my fingers to anything else.

Everyone's making retro stuff and I'm reliving my childhood.
Trans women are women. Trans men are men. Non-binary people are non-binary. So I declare, as Lord Regent of the Imperium.
Never had-had this problem with warpstone communicators. Blame silly man-things for stupid inventions with ever-increasing G's.
Only reason I can think it'd be stacked up high is because no bugger wants to read it.
As with so many times before, I wish I could remember to ask myself that first, and save a lot of wasted effort.
So, after spending time figuring that out and what woudl be needed to do it (most likely a serial terminal app to type into that sends the keystrokes to the destination), I finally got around to asking myself why the fuck I would need this

I know I can build that adapter by doing something like USB to Serial TTL into an Arduino into destination USB as HID mouse/keyboard device

Today in my random wanderings in my mind, I found myself wondering if I can output a PS/2 (or USB) keyboard signal via an adapter. So source PC USB -> adapter -> destination PC USB pretending to be keyboard/mouse
