Hard to take part in debate when the only two words you know by heart are migrants and scum.

Reform politicians are happy to throw insults from a distance.

But when it comes to debating their ideas? No show.

Richard Tice pulled out.
Farage wonโ€™t face me.
Now their candidate in Gorton & Denton has ducked our candidate Hannah Spencer.

Vote Green.

Worth remembering when looking at the horrific scenes in the US right now that both Reform and the Tories have pledged to bring in ICE-style organisations to the UK if they win power

I reread old favourites at bedtime! Currently, John Galsworthy's Over the River, the last of the Forsyte stories. Before that was To Serve Them All My Days, R F Delderfield. I love these old period novels that are actually written very close to the period they are set it.

Greenland's nightmare is probably Trump offering each citizen say a million dollars (57, 000 x 1 million) to buy Greenland and they have a referendum and citizens are split on Yes or No, and it's Brexit only even worse because they have a demented apex predator breathing down their neck.

Problem with economic sanctions is they tend to hurt the general population way more than the bastards in charge.

Greenland have been on a path to independence from Denmark for many years. They can have a Ref any time they want. the problem is that some Greelanders DO still want independence, and some are even warm to the idea of a strong US connection, whatever that means. These divisions can be exploited.

Greenland is absolutely falling over itself to deny any idea of wanting independence from Denmark. (The country has been flirting with the idea of an indie referendum for years...)

Very sensible. No longer part of 'the kingdom of Denmark' means no longer part of Nato, and very vulnerable indeed!

Well, one of many reasons, no?

Ha. Good point.

True, actually, yes!

Trump says the U.S. is not at war with Venezuela In an exclusive interview with NBC News, Trump discussed the path forward in Venezuela, including when there will be elections, the opportunities for oil companies and Congress' role.

Trumpian imperialism in action: kidnap the head of the regime, leaving the rest of it in place so as to access the oil reserves for the US companies. Then realize the oil is actually quite expensive to extract, so go ahead and SUBSIDIZE the oil companies. Perfect.

This Miller guy really is a total Nazi Klan imperialist wanker. He's practically dribbling at the idea of MORE CONTROL and making even more people do what he wants.

He's saying the US is a superpower and basically we are going to do what the fuck we like in OUR own hemisphere.

OUT: Helping you pay for health care.

IN: Helping oil companies pay for their infrastructure in a foreign country.

It's also about Trump & Co seeing what they can do with impunity, kind of trial run for the Greenland grab, which is very obviously on the cards.

Probably quite soon.

The pardon for Hernandez makes an obvious & absolute mockery of each & every attempt to rationalise, or even justify, Trump's treatment of Maduro. I'm not sure this single, simple point can be stressed enough. Once again, he proves his critics right & reduces his supporters to epic moral corruption.

I'm writing about the Palestine Action hunger strikers at the moment, any of whom could die at any moment, and the astonishing media and government silence surrounding them. The Establishment seems to have become even crueller than when Thatcher was PM.

Trump is simultaneously protecting his friends in the Epstein files and enriching his friends by invading Venezuela. The two highest priorities of the current administration.

These people are out of their minds. They are endangering the whole world. This has to stop. This is the wife of the man who is currently running foreign policy for the United States:

NBC News: โ€œHow soon will elections be held in Venezuela? Within 30 days?โ€

Rubio: โ€œElections? I think it is premature at this point.โ€

The US is going to be there for the long haul.

Trump: 'We're going to have our US oil companies go in and fix oil infrastructure to start making money for Venezuela.' ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Two pronged victory here for Trump.

1. Huge reserves of free oil.

2. And... can you hear the silence?

...NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT TRUMP & THE EPSTEIN FILES any more.

Hi sweetheart, lovely to hear from you! HNY to you too ๐ŸŒบ And I thing sticking together is the theme for this year, don't you? 'Stronger Together'.

Yes, of course. And what I mean is, if Trump supporters stop talking about the Epstein files, that's not a good thing. He wanted a distraction, a big one.

Sydney held a minute's silence for the Bondi Beach victims. Beautiful and touching ๐Ÿ’”

And I wish for all countries to hold a silence every NYE, before the fireworks begin - to honour our precious 'blue green, - the natural world which is being destroyed - and for the victims of war worldwide.
