You won’t read this but I’ve served for over 26 years. Please don’t put military on a pedestal just because of their job. Don’t root for us to fail but know that I’ve met murders, rapists, thieves and drug dealers on active duty. It’s doesn’t help us when everyone wants to give them a pass.

Funny how no one wants to talk about Iran-Contra these days. I know 20 somethings who actually feel a little bad for Nixon being held accountable for Watergate when they learn about the persistent lawlessness that has plagued us since the 80s.

Does Gutey need to start making deals like this? Imagine if he had moved Doubs last year for a center on the last year of his contract. Being open to filling roster gaps by moving players with 1 contract year remaining that GB doesn’t expect to keep for other players under limited ctrl might work.

Paying the cost to bring in Parsons fooled me into thinking that they wanted to dominate for a few years and win at least 1 (maybe more) championships. It seems that now, they really are just comfortable and that they won’t look to upgrade coaching on any level in an effort to win. Weird.

The ironic thing is that the odds favor Cleveland having a better special teams unit next year even with this hire. Decades of bad teams is GB’s special legacy. It’s inevitable!

Broadcast technology has come so far that the show seemed more like a music video filmed on location than a half time performance which is different but cool. Still long for the jet pack from SB 1 though. 🙂‍↔️

The moral cowardice is incredible. How hard was it to explain the creation of social security? Medicare? The CIA? The FBI? Dems are so only concerned with winning the next election so that they can dick around the corners. Primary this fool…somebody…anybody.

MAGA gives “trickle down” a whole new (disgusting) meaning.

If (when) Darnold does Sam things tonight, GB fans will be haunted by the ghost of playoff chokes and realize that even with the Parsons/Kraft injuries, they should have been competing for a SB slot on the field this weekend. Alas poor LeFleur. I knew him well. Good coordinator. Less so good coach.

This moron shot him while his comrades were mobbing him thus putting their lives at risk. Then they opened up on his body when he was clearly incapacitated by the first volley and put observer’s lives at risk. Not just depraved but completely incompetent.

MLF wanting a DC with previous head coaching experience says a lot more to me about his drive and desire regarding the leadership aspect of coaching than anything else associated with this hire. I’d prefer a coach who wants to lead his ENTIRE team and not delegate more than half of it.

Watching these mediocre teams just gives me depression. When Darnold does Darnold things later on tonight, GB coaching malpractice will raise its ugly head once again. Away foul specter of choking! Away!!

Hey let’s invade other nations to burn up their hydro-carbons even faster. All gas-no brake!!But the money needs to be in an account in the middle east because otherwise creditors would get it. All grifting-all the time!!

Maybe their eventual prison cells need to be holes dug in the ground with bars in the top in West Texas or South Dakota so they can experience the full spectrum of climate and then give us their chicken ass opinions.

Seven Dials was good watch. Strong start-a bit rushed and contrived ending. Performances and setting make it worthwhile.

Wait until the R Gary contract restructure/extension right before the draft and a corner taken in the 6th AND 7th round!

So it’s not surprising to see them concerned with the financials. Their primary concern is to ensure the team survives for as long as the NFL exists…championships are secondary. Fans can disagree but most of them didn’t live through the disastrous 70-80s years. It is understandable.

Silverstein’s source is probably MLF’s agent (so grain of salt) but “mom and pop” organization comment is reflective of how GB was run in 70s-80s prior to Ron Wolf. I grew up with games blacked out. There was no waiting list for tickets. Financials were bad. Board was and is scarred by those years.

Once they didn’t remove him or announce that he’ll coach on his last contract year, they gave up all leverage in negotiations though. They will give him 5 years to save face. Or watch him take a college job and be way behind the 8 ball.

It’s an official acknowledgment that the actions in Venezuela can be argued (persuasively) to have violated international law and an attempt to keep the money from being seized by the international community. This is the better and more damning take.
