Just got approved for funding for series 6 of the New Drama Hour.
I made a microsite last year for all the previous series here:

I guess boycotting Harry Potter feels pretty trivial to me, because I'm an adult. if someone told me I shouldn't eat Gerber's baby food, I'd be like, that is no problem. I'm way ahead of you
Going to give Labyrinth Chronicles a go today. It’s a remaster of the old Labyrinth boardgame but I have never actually played that. #boardgames
Project Hail Mary (2026)
The ‘Midnight’ episode that takes place almost entirely on a bus is very creepy. One of the best episodes.
I’d imagine it’s the type of robot that is basically just a roomba with a stack of shelves on top of it to hold trays. A Japanese restaurant near me has one, needs to be escorted by waitstaff as it tends to get stuck on peoples coats hung over the backs of their chairs.
Conner O’Malley’s ‘Rap World’ is so fucking good.
In Skerries, there's a new space for lovers of board and card games. The walls are stacked with games. Familiar ones like Catan, and Dungeons and Dragons, and less familiar ones such as Calico, Sushi Go, and Cascadia.
This is going to be such a great programme, but we really need people to sign up!
Please take a look and consider it or send it on to anyone you think it might be a good fit for.
The 4K restoration is amazing. They complete redid the score too so it sounds amazing too.
I keep seeing it in tourist photos, but what is up with that big globe in the Trinity long room library? Is that a permanent feature? Really looks awful and out of place.
I got an email yesterday to say they’re cancelling the Kickstarter and starting over on Gamefound. Obviously I prefer Gamefound but changing like that during a campaign doesn’t look great.
Also… Horrorvision is not a patch on Terrorvision.
Suffered through the Clerks trilogy this week. I was 16 when I saw the first one in the Screen cinema and I remember being amazed that people of my generation were making movies for my generation… 30 years later and I really wish that would stop now.

I'm begging the small local community groups in Ireland to please consider reframing their use of AI design work this way. The amount of drama and theatre groups in my sphere that I see using AI posters now just makes me sad.
I went to one of the bars from that movie when I was in LA. The Dresden Lounge, really cool spot.
Paul Williams was a guest on Carson and went straight from the set in full makeup.

Quite a mix. Cyber Jack was a very silly sci-fi Die Hard knock off starring Michael Dudikoff with Brian James chewing the scenery as the bad guy who wants to infect itself with a computer virus. #LetterBoxdFriday #LastFourWatched
Can’t believe they fixed that they fixed this thing that was mildly annoying.
When they put these traffic lights in at the end of my road the bicycle and pedestrian crossing lights were put in the wrong places. Well this week they swapped them.
One of the best games every made. Top 5 for me.
The baby has my glasses super loose on my head from grabbing them so I’ve come close to this one a few times…
Tiberpunk - a game I designed with @chrisbacke.bsky.social - is on Kickstarter and kicking ass. Be a hacker in ancient Rome - bio-augment yourself and run from the fuzz! It's the biggest game I've ever designed. Go have a look! www.kickstarter.com/projects/idv...
Looking forward to the next BGI con! Thanks @boardgamesireland.com
No more wamituktuk.
Just home from the first @boardgamesireland.com BGICON convention since Covid.
Great turn out and a lot of fun.
