Yeah okay I’ll accept the label ‘radical left,’ but if I’m being honest, I’ll also accept ‘tubular’, ‘bodacious’, and dare I say ‘gnarly’.

I listened to around 4-5 hours of it. Just one example is that I appreciated when he spoke about dark money in politics, how it works, and how it upends democratic processes.

I want to be inclusive, I really do, but at the same time, if you weren't entranced by the Pure Moods infomercial after midnight on TV in the mid-90s, you're just not my people. Those are the rules.

We feel before we rationalize. ALWAYS. You can't control it. Don't trust people who react to their feelings first. Trust people who first seek to understand why they initially felt the way they did.

In your hiring process, prioritize evaluating a candidate's ability to project the long-term impact of short-term decision-making. This is the #1 attribute that will determine your company's long-term growth.

One of the most important rules for product leaders is segmented market prioritization. Create a quadrant. X is organization size small to large. Y is operational maturity of your domain low to high. Circle an area. Run like hell from any customer need that doesn't fall into your circle.

We’ll get there. In the early 2000s, designing and implementing these kind of buttons in flash was so simple. Was quite a wild west of creativity, even making swappable images and skins in photoshop. When CSS first came out and flash sunset and flat reigned, I agree that a lot was lost.
