It is slow going. He went home a week and a half ago and realized he made a mistake and needed 24 hour care. Back to the hospital he went and they discovered fluid in his lungs. They just discharged him to another rehab facility yesterday, where he'll be the next 30 days.

Dad is finally home and the Roo Mans is happy even though he looks more unimpressed. Glad to be back with the crew and the mama after more than a month away!

Aren't they? We have 4 other members of the Roo Crew but he is special beyond his disabilities. Something about his resiliency and not knowing he's any different from any of his other siblings makes him so endearing.

And he loves ya as well! You guys have always been one of his biggest supporters!

We call him the Lil Ornery Mans! He's a hoot and a half!

Roo is actually a bipod! His whole litter was born without front legs due to inbreeding. He is also deaf, has hydrocephalus, and has strabismus. The rest of his litter came out fine, besides missing the front legs. He's a funny little ornery man who is very smart!

The Roo Crew does the same with us. We say that, to them, it's been 100 million years since we've been gone.
