My first performance raise was almost 5%, and I was ecstatic about it. Gas is almost $4/gal, and food remains VERY expensive. Many measures of economic prosperity measure the wealth of a nation, not the wealth of a nation's populace.

The avg American household is has more cash than 50y ago probably, but simply living in this country is far more expensive. I was talking to my dad, and he said when he was my age, he was getting 15-20% performance raises at his job regularly in the first 10 years of his career.

Isn't the answer just that most measures of economic prosperity don't take into account things like the price of gasoline or how expensive it is to feed/provide medical care for your family?

I'm not religious, but I respect the importance that faith plays in people's lives. Posting an image of yourself as God is literally blasphemy. It shows a disregard for sacred imagery and, by extension, for the very concept of the divine. Trump should apologize.

Constitutional lawyer here. I don't think it would violate the Constitution for the VP/Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment, but the intended constitutional remedy for this behavior is impeachment & removal. The fact that that remedy is politically impossible is a scandal and a crisis.
