Also when you’re in the bathroom. It’s creepy that at any time someone could just be there looking through the doorknob hole.

It won’t happen, but horror brain says I’m in danger of seeing someone peer through when I’m peeing.

The bathroom door is so creepy.

We removed the door nob and now there is just a huge hole of darkness Everytime I approach.

Needs a new doorknob, I don’t like the door like this.

Stew is such an under appreciated food.

Go make some stew! It does most of the work and it’s multiple meals!

Could always make too much and freeze some for a later date.

My entire house smells like stew.

We started making it last night.
So it’s been cooking all night long.

I so badly want to eat it, but must wait tell lunch time.

Been enjoying replaying Rainworld on Survivor - Hard mode.

Still sad my original save file is long gone.

But when I beat this, I’ll be ready to play the DLC.

Monty has had a rough night.
He’s been throwing up all night long.
I didn’t sleep at all.
But he did throw up a small hair ball.
Sadly that wasn’t the fix.

Monitoring him, I really hope we don’t need to go to the vet. It stresses him out and triggers his FIC. Which makes things worse.

The one hour timer is working.
2 days and both laundry and dishes are done done.

Even got some vacuuming in.

Now I might be able to get to some steam cleaning.

Or a deep bathroom clean.

I badly needed a spring cleaning.

Starting inside, and eventually working up to yard work.

Don’t call me stinky

I do have a blender but I never use it.
So limited counter space that it lives in a cupboard I can’t reach.

I ended up warming up a bean burrito.
One of my comfort foods.

That’s such a good idea
I think I need to start doing that.

Reminder to deep dive past a news headline.

I saw a popular post today and everyone was commenting on only the headline at face value.

When you actual open the article, the headline is absolute nonsense. It’s barely a half truth that’s been stretched so thin.

Headlines are not your friends.

I’ve been in nap survival mode.

It’s been a lot of stresses and overtime at work. I’m pretty done over here. Just exhausted. Sleep is all I have for recovering.

I can’t even get to my side projects and hobbies. We won’t talk about chores. My well being took priority.

Oh and it probably had that fun texture too!

I havnt seen the movie in years, I’ll have to give it a rewatch when I finish the book.

I have no idea how similar the 2 are. It’s of that time where adaptations sometimes did whatever they wanted and were loosely based on the book.

I adore old sci-fi books. I love their covers! And I like being able to get a weird glimpse of what the past thought the future would be.

The next book I’ll be reading is I, Robot.

This is from my sci-fi collection. This will be my first time reading it. But anytime I find a book by Isaac Asimov, I immediately hoard.

Finished reading “How to Lose a Goblin in 10 Days”

It was a nice cozy book. I really liked the relationship. I rarely get to read books with an Enby character.

The ending feels a little abrupt, and time passing in the book is confusing.

But overall I like it. It sits around a 8/10 for me.

Yes it does which is why I also avoided the trailers.
Even though I read the book, I didn’t want that part spoiled.

Saw Project Hail Mary last night!

Loved it! The film felt like a good adaptation for the book!

They only did minor changes and honestly it made the movie better.

As for my next book I’m reading
“How to Lose a Goblin in Ten Days”

I need cozy and some fantasy and this fits the mood.

Love that one of the characters is Enby. I don’t get to treat myself to many Enby characters in writing. But also they are just easily respected for being such.

Finished reading the 2nd Dune Book.

Honestly ended in a much better way than I expected. It was overall an alright book. I was pretty done with the politicing by the end.

I do know this book is a necessity in order to read the 3rd.

But I’m taking a break from the Dune Series

I could use a hug

I’m teetering on the edge of losing my job. I’ll do everything I can to fight and keep it. But it’s giving me extreme anxiety that even my meds are not able to hold back.
