I was going to come on here a complain about my dog stealing a banana from the fruit bowl and eating it but maybe the most noteworthy part of the incident was that she peeled it first.

Today's mindgame to try to beat my executive disfunction – I don't have anything on my to-do list today but if I want to help out Future Me by doing some of their tasks, it would really help out.

I've written some words on two projects and took a shower and it's only lunchtime!
So far so good!

You couldn't make this up…I've spent months cursing the scaffolding that's been up for almost a year, blocking my light and making it cold in here.
But given that it's 27˚C today, I was grateful that we'd get some shade this afternoon.

Mika is going in for the snip today. Watching the pre-op sedatives kick in and her go from “hm…something’s not right,” to “mum 👀 call the police” is funnier than it should be.

Well, this morning was interesting.
Got yelled at by a man hunting for marmite in the bin.
Found a pile of burning plastic in the middle of the street.
A dog ran across a road to attack Mika. Owner didn't seem to think it was a big deal.
Got home to an ambulance outside the house.
And all before 8am

I'm having to bribe her to eat lately so if she eats everything in her dish, I drop a treat in it.
