I wrote Easy Cure as the war in Ukraine got underway. While we sit cosily in our safe countries, we offer words of encouragement, fooling ourselves that we can imagine the pain an elderly man feels as, under a rain of bombs, he sets off in search of his missing wife.

Haha... We definitely don't want chipmunks singing. Trentemoller is a cool mix. I like the 65daysofstatic mix. I rate them highly - they did a great song with Smith called Come To Me. Have you heard it? All the Warsong tracks are great but then it is a brilliant song anyway.

I can see what you mean. I do prefer the second half of the album which isn't quite as forced. To be honest I love anything and everything sung by Smith... He could sing 'If you're happy and you know it clap your hands' and I'd be enraptured 😂
