Yeah, Hoyo is horrible with it. But, the Nikki franchise is predatory in different ways so 😭 Gacha is so rough…

We’re getting this collab with an artist in Shining Nikki, and I’m so excited 😭
The event schedule has been packed, though. I think that can mostly be blamed on global servers being behind CN (as they’re trying to catch up) but God is it miserable.

Welcome to the Nikki series 😭 You will not be able to get every set without spending, if you’re f2p it’s important to be selective and save for when a banner you love comes around.
I’m hoping Infinity will be more forgiving than Shining, especially in terms of reruns.

Like you may have to hit 10 pity each time if you’re unlucky, but chances are you’ll get a few pieces a bit earlier. So 80 is the *maximum,* not the minimum.

It’s fairly different as you only get the displayed 4* at 10 pity, and you don’t get repeats. So there is a firm pity of 80, but realistically a little lower.

The single 4* banners are also different, as the pity is 5 and it takes 40ish pulls to complete.

If you want a lot more references like that, I’d really recommend Shining Nikki! It’s been going for a few years now so they have a *sooo* many gorgeous traditional dresses 💕 (…Though picking up another gacha dress up game might not be a preference 😭 )

I’ve found it does this when I’m low on memory… used to annoy me so bad but ever since I got a memory upgrade (8gb to 32gb 🙈) I’ve never had it happen
