Deaghlan puts his head down on the steering wheel of his car. D: UGHHHHHHH A shot of the interstate weaving it's way through the center of the city. It leads underneath an overpass which is covered with a large boxy concrete structure covered in trees and vines, the seattle convention center. A partially sliced cut of meat is laid on a plate with several florets of broccoli. On the table is also several cups and a phone. D: So, how do you like it? Davey: It's alright.
DE: Just alright? DA: I mean, the meat itself is good. but the way you cooked it, it's pretty tough. and bland. Davey holds his knife over a cut of steak. Deaghlan, looking upset and sitting across the table from him. DE: What- I cooked it like you said I should! DA: I said to go "low and slow". You didn't go slow enough! DE: Jesus- if you don't like the way I cook, YOU can cook! DA: It's not my fault you're bad at cooking. DE: Bad at- I am not! You're just a snob! DA: I've told you a million times, I spend 60 hours a week in a fucking kitchen, I need a break. Can't I just relax at home? DE: Davey, I work in food now too, you can't use that excuse. DA: You? Pfft! Running a registers about as much kitchen work as your last job. Except the pay is shit. I have NO idea why you quit. The two sit across from each other, angry, arguing. Deaghlan grips the chair he's sitting in tightly. Davey rolls his eyes.
