Finally the bulk cards will be useful for something
The Cherry Blossom landscape is finished. Took around 4 hours of constant building, and it got fiddly towards the end but still very fun and looks great. Closer up you can see some sections, like the mountain, that jut out a bit over the water but generally it works really well.
The colour on these pieces is a lot more vivid, almost neon like, in person
Got the frame built, a bit repetitive which was expected but the bricks used are quite big, so there aren’t too many little pieces to scrabble around with. There are 17 bags in total and the frame took 5.
Making a start on this build, hoping to get it done by this afternoon
Drawing of a book with a desk printer on the cover with the title "The printer that simply worked and other fairy tales"
dhuartson: Don't let anyone talk you out of spending $15 on a new hobby. That $50 will be the best $400 you ever spent.
This is not wrong.
A paper sachet for Taylor’s organic peppermint tea
This peppermint tea is so good. It’s not overbearing with how minty it is, will definitely pick it up again when I’m running low.
Just rolled credits on Mouse P.I. For Hire. Final playtime was 12 hours 43 minutes, had a lot of fun with it despite a few performance hiccups.
A brown and white bunny rests on a gray carpet with eyes partially closed.
Mouse P.I. For Hire is a surprisingly long game, according to the in game time I’ve been playing for 11 and a half hours, although I’m definitely nearing the end now. Still unlocking new things even now.
Good spot!
Letter selection on Countdown C P U A G T R O A
The only thing I could see in this letter selection was Tupac
It should be a fun build, maybe repetitive with the frame and larger tree but worth it for the end result. I’ll start it tomorrow since it looks like an all day build.
Bought the Lego cherry blossom landscape set. Quite a big set that’ll probably take a long time to build, but it’ll look great once done.
It’s so much fun with how hectic and insane it can get, can’t wait to see more of Raiders.
Splatoon Raiders looks like it’ll be fun, kind of like a salmon run mode with more open areas and upgrades.
Splatoon Raiders releases on July 23, 2026
I couldn't help myself
I hate Al and I refuse to use it Peter, if you don't use Al a bunch of super rich men will lose a lot of money I already said I hated Al Harry, you don't need to sell it to me
Checking the weather for tomorrow and it’s going to be a bit chillier with a bit of a breeze. Hoping it won’t be too windy so I can go out for my walk down to the park.
Having fun playing Mouse P.I., even if the framerate does occasionally crash quite hard
This is a dance off. If you see this, repost with a dance or get eliminated
Had a message from my brother today for the first time in a little while, just saying “be careful when you try hammering” and attached a picture of his thumb badly bruised and bloody.
For sure, I picked up a few crème eggs since they’re very cheap now
Best time to buy Easter chocolate
New Lego Botanical sets coming out later this year. The water lilies look really nice as does the mushroom display.
Have been playing in handheld mode so maybe when it’s docked it’ll perform better. The vibe and feel of the game is great though, it plays well and feels responsive.
