If you’re perpetually late for things that makes you a selfish arsehole, not a laid back free spirit with a personality quirk.

People should turn up on time for things and things should happen at the time they say they are going to.
This is what happens when you sell yourself on the basis of nothing other than Good Governance and some vague notion of being boringly competent, and you then fuck up the one thing you've sold yourself on.
God, those teams that Wenger built from 1998 to 2004 were good, weren’t they?
They’re an oil dictator’s PR project who nobody respects, and they know it.
It wouldn’t put me off voting for them as such, it’s just annoying. The antisemitism and the NIMBYism puts me off, but they’re still a whisker ahead of the party who want to destroy the industry I work in so they can pander to racists and inverse intellectual snobs.
Who will this benefit? Maybe a handful of dogs. Will it make anyone less poor, less racist or help the climate? No, so why are you bothering. It’s just cranks.

Surely it’s more that nobody gives a fuck about your silly little pet projects, and people want politicians to take on real things rather than this kind of fucking nonsense?
I’m in the industry and Carillion is used as a case study of what not to do. KPMG chose not to look then falsified evidence and threw the middle managers under the bus while the partners got off with a slap on the wrist.
He delivered a series of absolutely immense performances in a vital position at a time where we needed them most, and he was only a kid. Awful news.
Whoever tidied that up is going above and beyond.
Most people are saying the Arsenal game is boring but according to @live.arseblog.com Trossard is getting excited at least.
I feel like City deserve a visit from JD Vance this week. He loves cheating, oligarchy, and petrochemicals so I’m sure he’d be a great brand ambassador.
If you’d offered that in isolation yes, but if you’d added that half our senior players would be carrying injuries of varying severity and our form and confidence were in the toilet, I’d have thought twice.
Oh that’s very good.
There are some doozies in the replies.
That’s unfair. You can also be a Home Counties wet Tory who wants to stop literally anything being built.
“I’m a hand model. We think differently to you face and body boys. We’re a different breed.”
With respect I think you may be arguing over how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.
Football fans mangling the end of the chorus of “Voulez Vous” 😡. It should be punishable with stadium bans.
Problem is public transport isn’t a realistic option for large numbers of people. Where it is, it’s often slow, expensive and unreliable.
Freddie Mercury must condemn
Fair enough. I think my point was it's easier to get a high number of steps in when you're using public transport of whatever kind - even a 5-10 minute walk to a tube/metro platform at either end, with a lunch break, you're probably on your feet for an hour or so, which is 6k steps right there.
Fair play to him, whoever he is if he does all these gigs. None of this Morrissey nonsense of cancelling gigs whenever the hotel aircon is a bit noisy.
I'd almost regard it as the other way round. On the days where I commute to work by train I very rarely go under 10k steps.
If you want to know how vile people got during that period, the comments sections of those blogs are a pretty accurate archive.
During Covid I spent time in the comments section of the Guardian daily UK politics blog. It did not help me, mentally.

Perhaps. And RvN’s tackle on Cole rather supports your point.
