Our front page Morning Call article caught the eye of a local manufacturer who produces hot cocoa mix. They called. They had product to donate. We said YES! 🙌
Result: Over a TON of hot cocoa mix rescued! (Perfect timing for winter, right? ❄️)

🚌 When we collect unused food items (like fruit cups, juice cups, carrot sticks and apple slices) from local schools, our main goal is to minimize food waste and help those in need. 🍎🥕 But there’s an unexpected bonus! 😱 Food item collections show the district what items are consistently left behind.
