I felt the same way about the movie; the 2018 audio version from Bafflegab Productions, featuring Reece Shearsmith and Mark Gatiss, is a MUCH better way to experience this folk horror tale.

I was at the second show in Manchester and it was the best gig I’ve been to. I was also pleased to recognise Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens name in the programme as I’ve heard it spoken aloud so many times in your Hitchhiker’s shows! A brilliant rock ‘n’ roll connection I’m sure DNA would have appreciated.

At Sunday’s #PaulMcCartney gig in Manchester, Paul referred to Liverpool as being “about 30 minutes down the East Lancs” - something about him referencing a road that I know and drive often just made the show feel immediately intimate and personal. A perfect gig for me, dad and my pals!
