Universities ‘asking how much research they can afford to do’ - Research Professional News Crisis in universities’ finances spells “difficult decisions about research activity they can continue”, leaders warn

The 3.6.0 version has had a few small improvements in the code. Especially, when saving or recompiling a survey, the scroll position of the window is saved. Also, a new color scheme for surveys has been added. Let us know if you have any issues with these things.

3. For anyone who isn’t on X, my thesis is titled ‘Olfactory Ethics: The Politics of Smell in Modern and Contemporary Prose’. I’ll include the abstract here so everyone can see which texts I worked on and a summary of my ideas.

Contrast with yesterday when I logged into Twitter for the first time in ages, and the whole thing seemed to focused on attacking someone for posting a photo of their PhD thesis.

David Smith builds self-assembling nanogels for regenerative medicine This supramolecular chemist’s personal experience drives him to build scaffolds for tissue engineering

A few years ago, @cenmag.bsky.social named me an LGBT+ Chemistry Trailblazer. In my current life as a single parent scientist, having a child with additional needs, I don't have capacity for any personal relationships. I increasingly wonder how relevant the 'G' label is.
