1/ With a ceasefire now apparently in place in the Gulf, Iran has a golden opportunity to rearm – most likely with the aid of Russia, its main supplier of weapons since 2015. A Russian warblogger calls for missiles and drones to be rushed to Iran to prepare for a new war. ⬇️

Yup - 1 trans family member. My stepson. His brother. My 2 kids+ex wife, daughter’s husband, me & my wife. I grandparent. His father and 4 siblings, my wife’s 3 siblings and two partners. 4 cousins. 2 of my wife’s cousins. One of my brothers at least.

25 lost Labour votes, if I’ve added correctly.

When I've been out and about, I've never had a trans person approach me to try and turn me trans. I've never had a Muslim try to convert me.
I have had Christians invade my space and shove leaflets into my handbag or my hand. They can't take no for an answer. Only one type of indoctrination here.

Longer more recent piece. After leaving academia it took me a long time to start writing again. But I have started again.

Please note, I'm also dyslexic, had a disrupted schooling experience, left school at 16 years of age.

NEW: Our investigation for @thenerve_news reveals not only that Peter Thiel’s Palantir is completely enmeshed in our critical national infrastructure.

It’s also the ‘cloud support’ for our nuclear weapons system 🤯

And at the same time, running down the NHS so we humans pay more for our own treatment. To stay in work, we’ve had to pay for various treatments as waiting lists are too long.

Every time this paper gets up on its high horse about how The Hard Left Is Wrong About Country (x), you can be sure that Country (x) is now in the crosshairs to get fucked up, wrecked collapsed into chaos and then its citizens left to fend for themselves an a Mad Max warlord nightmare.

Yup - EHRC using AI to ignore consultation responses from trans people is good.

W.Mids police using it to protect people from rampaging MTA thugs is bad.

Even the Terfs dislike him and he’s done more to harm trans people than any U.K. politician so far.

The thing about this place is the blocking function works so it’s hard to get annoyed with people…. As someone whose politics were forged in the late 1960s, I do need hostile actors in my life…. I should grow up….

Streeting orders review into mental health and ADHD diagnoses The health secretary says the aim is to tackle a rising demand for services and pressure on the NHS.

Boycott - No one should cooperate with this review. The aim will be to deny and delegitimise neurodiversity and reduce costs. There is money, should they choose to collect it.

Canary in the mine:
Just reflect on what they’ve done to Trans kids post Cass.
