I forgot to put plug of the spark plug wires back in before doing this pre-VeXpo errand, so the Pinto was briefly a 3 cylinder engine

Got a new battery hold-down made of plastic from 1976. Humanity has certainly gotten better at manufacturing low cost injection molded plastic since then 😅

The car is unfortunately now leaking coolant/antifreeze from the most annoying location ever: behind the engine!

Time to buy an inspection camera to find out whether it's a fitting or a hose.

After I took the pinned post pics, someone getting off work drove up and asked if he could take Minto Pinto pictures too! He said that his wife used to drive a Pinto Runabout - he was looking forward to her reaction to the pics.

I purchased the Pinto in Arkansas - and as is custom with classic cars - the seller wanted to keep the historic Arkansas plate.

So I cannot confirm nor deny that I drove it from Arkansas for 300+ miles without a license plate. Nor can I elaborate whether I was pulled over👮‍♀️

Ripped out the previous restomod's questionably installed single DIN head unit and replaced it with a touchscreen for $70.

The Pinto now has USB-C and wireless Android Auto lol
