Those tariffs were used to fund Trump's reality show extravagance, hubris, and grift. It isn't just sitting on the "tariff shelf" waiting to be refunded. The original tariffs, the refund, and associated interest are all layers of damage to the American people who will see very little relief.

The American people, who paid for Trump's tariffs will now have to refund them at their expense, with little recourse to relief themselves, including an additional $700M a month in interest.

Something about this doesn't feel like "making us rich".
