the one thing that might creep me out abt the short is how tall the monkey is. even tho its around 2ft irl, on set it's almost as tall as a 2 story building.

On 2/11/2026, I posted 2 comics to commemorate Jucika's 69th birthday. One with her receiving gifts from well-known people in her fandom, and another of her trying some "dangerously lemon pie." I already had plans to make a "Director's Commentary" on the thought process, but it would've been much later had it not been for some 4chan posters assuming the final panel was about [CENSORED]. "Second to last panel is a drill, I guess? Not sure what it means. Last image possibly implies the gift of [CENSORED]." So because I'm doing it now, step up a little closer, folks, and get the real low down.

--THE IDEA-- I got the idea to do a birthday comic after Keegan The Animator made a tweet announcing 2026 was the year Jucika turned 69. ["Jucika's birthday is February 11th by the way, she'll be 69 years old. Just so you know :)"] Which is a very fitting number if you ask me. My first idea was to have it be an illustration where my avatar--something I call a Blrrb--holds one of Jucika's LEGO train sets, whilst Jucika holds a LEGO radio and Japanese Maple Leaf tree set. All with both enjoying some dangerously lemon pie. I ended up ditching that idea because I lost interest in doing it. Alongside that idea would've been Jucika doing the Edna polaroid from The Simpsons. And I had some sort of weird logic to it too: posting both at the same time would've included a message stating that while it's nice to do sexy stuff with Jucika since that's sort of her thing, it's just as important to honor what made her the timeless character she is today--her crafty, carefree, cheeky nature. --THE BIRTHDAY COMIC-- My second idea was to make a comic strip where Jucika receives gifts from people. Me with that pie, Keegan The Animator's Betty with the drill, and Albo's avatar with something very explicit. I even had the idea that for the Instagram upload, I'd apply an Instagram sticker over the explicit thing in reference to Albo's relationship with the app. ...If you can even call it a relationship. [Image being shown is a Meta employee proudly displaying a masterpiece deserving of a "moron of the year" award. For context, Albo's account was slammed for what Meta referred to as "Account Integrity." It's like checking in for food poisoning and your doctor just guesses you have motor neurons disease.]

My first order of business was to ditch including me entirely and instead use GENC--the account runner of @JucikaDaily--giving Jucika a crown. Her outfit (crown included) was inspired by a thank you note done by GENC when their emergency fundraiser reached its goal. I then changed GENC's position from having it be their avatar to Charlota from "Boxcar City RUSH." [I've only ever read the first part that's available on NG, but I love the premise of BCCR.] Betty was planned from the start, right down to the power tool. And that was because of a joke reply made by Keegan over what to give Jucika for her 69th. [Modo: What should I get her? (besides legos those are getting expensive) Keegan: she likes power tools] Now as for Albo, because I had already replaced GENC with Charlota, I figured I'd keep the train rolling by using Albo's Jucika clone Charlie. And as for what the coat hanger was for... it's a joke about how Charlie is giving Jucika her "birthday suit." And my logic behind that was that a birthday suit is A. something that would've been allowed back in the days of Lúdas Matyi (even knowing there's a comic where Ju and another guy engage in auto-erotica[image used is exactly that]) and B. something that Charlie would do just to screw with Jucika. If she didn't shape it into something more "intimate."

--THE PIE-- Now I knew I wasn't going to sleep without me giving Ju a gift. So I decided to make an entirely separate comic where I finally give Jucika that darn pie. It's a "Dangerously Lemon Pie," which was a recipe I found out about from B. Dylan Hollis. The boy in the center (if you don't know anything about me as the Cursive M) is Ricky from The Little Trashmaid. The reason he's here as opposed to somebody like Cathy is because of a fan edit done by "Roars and Whispers" creator Wolflu66. [Edit is aftermath of Tidy eating a lemon and Ricky getting lemon juice in his eye. Tidy's face and Ricky's eye is sucked in from the sourness. Ricky is probably screaming in pain.] I figured he would know a thing or two about lemons being super sour. --THE FUTURE-- I do intend to do more comics and I have Jucika to thank for that. If I ever do a comic to celebrate Jucika's 70th birthday, I will definitely include Cathy, SpinSyudo's Tally, and especially JucikaInOrder. I actually have a funny/morbid idea for how that might work. All that being said, your owed explanation has been given. Depending on where the winds blow, I might be around to celebrate Jucika turning 70 and put these future plans to work. Thank you for reading my ramblings, and take care.
